Well, fuck

This post is a bit late, but a couple of days after our last yarn bomb we went back to the scene of the crime. Things we saw: benches, trash. Things we did not see: adorable knit things. Why? Why does our city keep taking down happy public art? It's not hurting anyone or anything. And why is cutting our knitting off of benches in the downtown square more important than picking up the empty food wrappers two feet away?

And no one got arrested, the end.

We had yarn bomb No. 2 and 3 tonight! In what is apparently becoming a tradition, here are some shitty cell phone pictures taken in the dead of night. Enjoy!

We hit up the downtown square with some darling handles for the benches. We tried to look inconspicuous, but its surprisingly difficult to casually stitch things to benches.

To make up for our lack of activity last month we dropped these lovelies as well. These gator feet were originally meant for some parking meters, but we all know how that project ended (in scissors and tears). Instead they found a lovely new home on a bench in the Sun Center.
